2010 Scholarship Information

The Association of Fundraising Professionals, Central PA Chapter, is pleased to offer a variety of scholarship opportunities for educational and professional development available for AFP members and nonmembers.  Scholarships will be awarded for the 2010 Fall Leadership Series at Millersville University, the Central PA Chapter's 2010 Annual Fall Conference, and the 49th International Conference in 2011.

To apply for a scholarship, please submit the application, along with the attachments, before the posted deadline.  Applications may be downloaded from this website and are accepted year round.  Please refer to the scholarship information below for further details including eligibility requirements and training specific deadlines.

Whether you are new to fundraising or are a seasoned professional, we invite you to apply for one of our many scholarship opportunities.  These quality educational programs offered through the Association of Fundraising Professionals provide valuable information for those of us in the development field.  Chapter scholarships are a wonderful resource to help offset the costs associated with these formal trainings.

2010 Millersville/AFP Leadership Series  
Series Dates:  September 14 through December 15, 2010

Open to members and nonmembers.  Scholarships are awarded for individual modules of the Essentials of Fundraising series. 

The Essentials of Fundraising series is offered in partnership with the Nonprofit Resource Network at Millersville University. 

Eligibility Requirements:


AFP Central PA Chapter Annual Conference, October 15, 2010

Open to Members. 

Eligibility Requirements:

  • The applicant must be a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Central PA Chapter.

  • The applicant must be currently employed as a fundraising professional and/or hold a position that requires at least one half of their time to be spent on fundraising activities.

  • The applicant has never attended the AFP Central PA Chapter fall conference.

  • The applicant agrees to share comments about their experience at a chapter meeting.

2011 Chamberlain Scholarship - AFP International Conference
     March 2011

Open to members.

Eligibility Requirements:
 

  • The applicant must be a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Central PA Chapter.

  • The applicant must be currently employed as a fundraising professional and/or hold a position that requires at least half of their time to be spent on fundraising activities.

  • The applicant has never attended the AFP International Conference on Fundraising.

  • The applicant agrees to share comments about their experience at a chapter meeting and complete an  AFP International evaluation form.
